finding you have asked an excellent question ranks right up there. I note you are giving the little adios and hope you enjoy it. Back stabbing means you are doing something right you know. Finding a new flavor brings me joy but not as much as a hug or a well done. The 3 As approval acceptance and appreciation we all need them

hope I have given you a little of all 3

I find joy in so many little things. I can't name them all. This is just my super short list.

Cooking a great meal and sharing it with a group of my favorite friends.

Collecting " I LOVE YOU" in different languages. I'm at 34 now....

Being able to spend time in my studio and paint for a whole afternoon .

Reading a great book.

My cat, scout, when he snugglest behind my knees in bed.

My husband Ken, when I catch him just staring at me while I do something. I'll ask him why? and He just says " because you're so beautiful "

Getting emails from friends I haven't heard from in a long time and knowing that they are OK.

Putting on my favorite CURE album and running around the house dusting and being silly while it plays.

Making my mom laugh this laugh she has and then her smile while she looks at me all cracked up still and says " You're so stupid!! ". I think its the nicest thing she ever says to me! I remember it from my first silly knock knock joke. Its a private 'i love you' between us.

The day I got to pet a killer whale at Sea World. I have always loved and adored them, even painted a 13ft. mural of one in my apartment once...it was awesome. But when they arranged for me to have a 'private' viewing ( I'm visually impaired, couldn't really see the show that well. LOL I mean, I know they're big, but they were kinda far away!! LOL) That was a joy day that keeeeeeeeeeeeeps on bringing me joy.

Sitting on my balcony which is on the third floor, there is a big leafy tree there, it makes me feel like I'm in a treehouse. Birds sing, there is a lake with a fountain, my patio umbrella has wind chimes that gently ring out with the breeze. I can see the blue sky and the sun casting shadows on all the plants and flowers. There are ducks in the lake, quacking, I am out there with my bible study, listening to my canary sing and thinking about the next question I'm about to answer. A really lovely Sunday afternoon.

My daughter writing her name for the first time, a beautiful sunset, holding my husband's hand, sitting beside the ocean, a crisp fall day, and a freshly mowed lawn, just to name a few!

Anything my little boy does brings me joy.

I like it when he walks on his little unsteady feet. I think it's cute when he pretends to feed me or pretends to be a puppy. I like his little voice.

Babies are wonderful.
