F 150 is a truck E 150 is a van. Yes they both a ford but that is how ford name them ?

It started in 1948 F= ford 100,-800 was series at the time. I think 100 was 1/2 ton pickup 800 was their biggest 2 ton for semi tractor
The engine was 239 cu in flathead at 100 hp
