Separate the seeds from pumpkin flesh and strings. Wash them well and spread them on paper towels to dry. Next spread seeds evenly over a cookie sheet. Heat them in a 375-degree oven for 20-30 minutes. raise the oven temperature to 400. Brown the seeds for five to 10 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and serve hot or cold.

Wait! first you want to spread them out on a dry paper towel. Let them dry for several days. Even a week or so is good. Then you can either roast them(350) or fry in a small amount of oil on med or lower heat. Turn regularly until crisp. Use seasoned salt or Mrs. Dash(salt sub) after cooking. season to taste. ENJOY...

It's been years, but I remember soaking them in salty water for a couple of hours, then lightly salting them on a dry baking sheet...
I baked them at 325 until they were lightly browned (and it's quick from lightly browned to blackened).
The recipe is slightly different from Better Homes and Garden. Hit the recipe tab on top and type in "pumpkin seeds" on the left side recipe search box

Butter them up good and some salt as well. Put on a cookie sheet and set oven to broil. 350 or so. don"t put too close and watch to see when they brown just a bit. That's it.
