It's the flesh of a fish,so technicaly it's the meat of a fish. It's just not red meat, or the light or dark meat of poultry.

of course fish is meat, it's flesh from a fish. a fish is a cold blooded aquatic life form living in streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, seas, and oceans..........and its damn good battered and fried!
