Try the shettles method. It really works if done properly. My friend has five kids--all with preditermined genders. Crazy I know but it works. I haven't tried it but I will if I don't get my little girl (I have two boys) after my next pregnancy.

Great idea--put my answer and lawrences answer together then you will increase your chances! Best of luck!

Hi I have five children 4 girls and a 3week old boy. Its just pot luck we tried so many different things to have a boy by changing my diet, having sex at a certain time in the month but nothing worked.I was not planning to have any more children after our fourth girl ( i was on the pill ) But I fell pregnant and had a baby boy. That was a big surprise and even seeing our boy we couldn't believe it. I was told by my doctor that the odds are more likely to have another of the same sex the more children you have. Goodluck

The biggest thing that prompts me to answer this question is the silly and or stupid statement made by Melissa ,,,,,, There is no gender between sperm ,,,,, If there were male and female sperm then there wouldn't be any need of the egg from the ovaries ,,,,,What I mean to say is that there is no gender difference between the sperm cells ,,,,, just their X Y factor ,,,,, if there is a gender between sperm cells ,,, then how do you distinguish which is which ,,,, is it that the female sperm has long hair and the other one doesn't lolol ,,,, Anyway to try and answer your question ,,,,, You could go to planned parent hood ,,,,, and they could put you in touch with people that are able to help you with your problem ,,,,,, I don't know the procedure of course ,,,,,, It's something involving the X Y factor or what ever it is they refer to it as ,,,, It's the sperm that determines the gender of the child and they have methods to be able to separate these two types of sperm cells ,,,,, they extract the male producing sperm and inseminate the mother with just that type sperm cell only ,,,,,, I can't remember but I think that the success rate of this method is like 95% or something like that ,,,,, good luck ,,,,, Yoda told you this ,,,,,,

Male sperm (or sperm that have the Y) are faster swimmers so if you have sex the day you ovulate and then the next day the male sperm will get to the egg first and have the first go at it. Abstain for the 3 days before you ovulate though or else there will be female sperm up there waiting for the egg and your odds would be 50/50. This is called the Shettles method.
