Tuna of The Sea is = tuna fish

Chicken of the Sea is= precooked chunks of Chicken

So they really are not the same kind of meat.
Chicken of the Sea is great to make Chicken Salad.

It is called "Chicken of the Sea" because chicken is the most consumed meat in the world and tuna is the most eaten fish.

The marketing people were vegetarian crossdressers who were sending a secret message to the chickens of the world not to think that those little metal cylinders were innocent but contained creatures that the chickens had never met before. So it was like...solidarity (or chunks together) for the canned ones and the revolution of chickens and chickens of the sea is coming!

In the "old days," fishermen referred to the white albacore tuna as "chicken of the sea." It was called this because the white color and very mild flavor reminded them of chicken.
