I created a WinAmp playlist, but winamp apparently doesn't create MP3 discs; only audio discs. Nero worked in burning the tracks, but it butchered the playlist order. Roxio (built-in ripper/burner for Windows Media Player) is a disaster: can't handle MP3 discs. So anyone know any good software to rip/burn playlists into an MP3 disc?

There's a reason that iPods are so popular. The way they work with iTunes is easy and seamless. Other players do not have that type of integration. You can get a lot of music onto a $79 Shuffle.

Windows Media Player 10 has option to burn to MP3.

Sonic RecordNow!™ 8 is very good software to burn/rip playlists.
