my last period was towards the end of September, early October. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend for a little bit about 2 weeks after my period. I usually get dark spotting about a week before my period, and I usually only cramp when I have my period, but it seems like everything has reversed. I'm NOT spotting, when I should be right now, and I AM cramping and bloated, which is too early. I noticed since yesterday that I feel just a little and i mean a little nausea, but i just feel like i got that way b/c I've been thinking about it. Could I be pregnant? I bought the home pregnancy test, but is it too early to test?

Some women do have cramping in early pregnancy as there are so many changes taking place inside the body; however, if you are pregant, it is quite early for you to be experiencing things. Implantation would barely have taken place. But the timing of sex was impeccable, qas ovulation often occurs around 14 days before your period is due. If you're going to be having sex and don't want to become pregnant, you really need to use contraception to minimize the chance of pregnancy. THe only other way is to not have sex. The only way to know for certain if you are preggo is take a home pregnancy test (the Dollar Store has a good one that is sensitive. Detected my present pregnancy 4 days before my period was due.) If it is negative, wait for your period and if it doesn't come, test again. All the best!

Sounds like you can be pregnant. I thought I wouldn't cramp when I was pregnant, but some amount of cramping is normal. This is especially true early in pregnancy because your uterus is expanding. Take the test the day your period is supposed to come. I know it's hard to wait, but do it as close as possible. If it comes out negative, you still could be pregnant--just test every 4-5 days or so. (or as long as you can hold out!) Honestly, it sounds like you've answered your own question--your body isn't doing what it normally does and you did have unprotected sex.

Hang in there!

Unprotected sex ?? Hmm... R u trying to get pregnant now? The chances getting you getting pregnant is risky/ high cos you are not using protection methods(e.g Condoms).B'cos Anytime you have sex unprotected, you are risking it. There is a possibilty that you might be pregnant however, you might not be ovualting and you might not get pregnant... But if you are ovulating, it's likely that you might be pregnant. Good Luck!!! Try to be carefeul so this does not happen next time.
Signs of cramps.. Hmm, think should be that you have over-exerted yourself during sexual intercourse with your partner. Not to WoRRy.Since you have bought a pregnancy test kit & do a home pregnancy test to check if you are pregnant or not. Nope, it's never early to test it. However if you are stil worried, go and consult your family ddoc immediately for an examination.

An Advice: AlwayS USE A CONDOM when having sex with your partner. Better Be SAFE than to be Sorry!
The first time you have sex you should be emotionally and financially prepared for ALL of the consequences that happen when one CHOOSES to have sex. All The Best!!!

Sounds like you're possibly pregnant. The home tests are accurate 14 days after possible conception.. .. you should be able to test now I think, if your period was due now. Wait till at least the day your period was due.

you can have a pregnancy test as early as 1st day of missed period. you could be pregnant and it's better to know it earlier so you could take vitamins and supplements for your baby.
