Yes, I believe in once saved always saved/Eternal Salvation. First let me say to you and all others out there that hold your view without biblical proof, to say one could lose your salvation is to say Christ work on the cross is weak and it only have effect along as you dont sin any more. You're telling yourself that your sin is stronger than the death, shed blood, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That means you dont have total faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and you dont trust that God has forgiven you of all your sins.

You all are also souping yourselves up to believe (without proof) that God is not able to keep you saved, your saying no matter what evil can prevail over good.

Now I'll show you biblical proof that once your saved (no matter what) your always saved. Look in the Gospel of John chapter 10, and verses 28 and 29: Jesus is speaking, and he said:
I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, no one can snatch them out of my hand.
My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one.

Look also in the epistle of Ephesians chapter 1, and verses 13 and 14; which states: And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.
Who is a deposit gauranteeing our inheritance; until the redemption of those who are God's possession - to the praise of his glory.
The final verse I want to share with you is this Hebrews chapter 6, verses 4 through 6: and they read;
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away to be bought back to repentence, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

These verses are plainly saying that GOD is ALMIGHTY, the work on the cross of CHRIST JESUS is complete. NOTHING in all creation can undo what God/Jesus has done.
If it is possible for you to lose your salvation you CAN'T get it back because Christ died for sins ONCE for ALL!!!!!!!!!!
Not everytime you think you've done wrong and think you lost your salvation and then Do you actually believe that you can put him on the cross all over again for your sins each and every time you do wrong? According to Hebrews 6: 4-6, No, you Can't.
Also in Ephesian 1:13 says, your sealed with the promise Holy Spirit, the deposit guaranteeing our inheritance. Now, first off we have a guarantee from God and I know that God is not a man that he should lie. I also know that no amount of sin nor nothing in all creation can break that seal but God Almighty, because he bought you with the blood of Christ, so you belong to him. Unless your not truly saved and then, you can't lose what you never had....... eternal salvation.
I'll leave you with my motto, the very best to live and die by: God said it, I believe it and that settles it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amen!!

I believe in eternal salvation- no begining, no end. salvation is not about works, right? Isn't saying you believe in christ an action or a deed or a work?

If there is a god, he loves all people equally, even our athiest friends.

They are probably hoping this is not true as much as you are. I am sure they would not relish the idea of spending eternity with people who think they are always right and need to convince everybody.

No, I do not believe in "once saved always saved"

And the Apostle Paul did not either.

Time and again Paul likens the Christian’s course to a “race” that must be run to the finish. “Let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” he urged the Hebrews. (12:1, AV) To enter the race, sinners must take the steps necessary for salvation: hearing and accepting the Word of God, believing in Jesus Christ and his ransom sacrifice, repenting of their sins and being baptized. In this way, they get saved “from this crooked generation,” as Peter exhorted those gathered at Pentecost. Unbelievers are outside the race, having failed to enter by getting “saved.”Acts 2:37-40.

Once entered in the race by being “saved,” a Christian takes “hold of the life which is life indeed.” But is it possible to lose that grip on life? Paul answers with this question: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize?” In the Christian race, Paul indicates the “one” who receives the prize is anyone who finishes the race. Therefore, Paul urges, “So run that you may obtain it.” Then, using himself as an example to make the point of his illustration, he continues: “I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Tim. 6:19.

Evidently the apostle, who surely was a “saved” Christian, believed that even he could be “disqualified” from the race. Yet as long as he continued to ‘run that he might obtain’ the prize, thus remaining in the race, salvation was assured. This is why Christians who remain in the race can be said to ‘have everlasting life.’ But if they should ever quit the race, they are “disqualified,” losing their hold on everlasting life.

Up to a Point.
There is the Unpardonable Sin.
You have to Ascend High in the Spirit Realm to even be Able to Commit it.
Baby Christians cannot commit the Unpardonable sin.
If you still worry about your Salvation, you haven't Committed the Unpardonable Sin. Its not like Getting Drunk, fornication ,lying or Stealing etc.
You commit it when you Decide to Walk Away from Jesus ON PURPOSE, KNOWING WHAT YOUR ARE DOING---wanting the World, sin and such.
Very Few Christians Commit this Sin. Very Few.
If your scared of not being Saved anymore and Missing Heaven, you Have Not Committed it.

You are absolutely right about that. The only way to become born again is to recieve new life. That is when we become what most people call saved. Saved from our old man, saved from hell, saved from eternity without God. etc. There isnt any way to lose salvation unless you lose faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.

"Once stored, continuously stored" is a Protestant mistakes first articulated through John Calvin within the sixteenth century. It used to be now not taught through Jesus or ever promoted through the common church. The completed paintings of Jesus Christ used to be to make some way in which each and every guy will also be stored. But securing salvation calls for an energetic reaction through each and every guy. Salvation calls for baptism (Mark sixteen:sixteen; John three:five), believing Christ and hanging religion in him (e.g., Luke 7:50, eight:12), self-renunciation (e.g., Matt five:three, 10), repentance (Matt three:two; four:17; 18:eight-nine; Mark nine:forty two-forty eight), obedience to God, doing what's charitable and simply (e.g., Luke 10:25-28; Matt 19:17; Matt 25), adopting the humility of a baby (Matt 18:three-four; 19:14), consuming the bread of existence (John 6:fifty one, fifty three-fifty four), and staying power to the tip (Matt 10:22, 24:thirteen; Mark thirteen:thirteen, Luke 21:sixteen-18). Jesus can not reply for us. We ought to reply ourselves. Cheers, Bruce

you don't earn salvation, its a gift, you have to except it from Jesus he went and died for us on the cross,we didn't ask him to,he did it be cause he wanted to,and once saved always saved, but you can sin as a christian and if you die in your sin you will have to answer for it,but you want go to hell. Good or bad or none at all works will not get you in or keep you out of heaven, not excepting Jesus Christ as your savior will.

Bad works just shows that you were never really saved but fooled yourself. Thats the eternally secure argument. Others think if you can choose to be saved then you can then choose not to be.

This is a foolish question because the cure is the same "do it now". Who cares the cause of the condition if the cure is the same.

Doesn't make sense does it. Can we really earn our salvation or isn't it a gift that was given to us? Then again if are exercising bad works it is our own fault isn't it?
