I am in 8th grade, and there is this really cute guy named Dennis that goes to my skool, i have a crush on him and he knows,well my friend ana asked him if he likes me and he said i have a girlfriend right now. what does that mean? that he likes me but he cant go out with me? or what? and that was last week, well i havent talked to him this week, maybe one sentence but thats it. how do i start a conversation with him? PLEASE HELP!

ohh and he flirts with me and he smiles at me too, but couldnt that mean by 'right now' that he is taken at the moment, but does that mean i will have a chance with him after they break up or sumthin? i am not trying to break them up i dont even know who his girl friend is.

Start by waving at him, or saying hi. How's it going? He probably does have a girlfriend right now, you should just start by talking to him as a friend. Then as you guys get closer, you never know what happens.

He has a girlfriend, Dear. Sorry, but he let your friend know he has a gf for a reason. He wants to be with her. I don't understand the "right now" part. Is he planning on not having a gf soon? Make sure he's not the kind of guy who goes from girl to girl before you get involved & get hurt.

First of all, honey... you're in 8th grade. Second, do you REALLY like him, or are your hormones kickin in early? If you really like him, just talk to him. Say, how ya doin? What's goin on? If he's in band, ask how's band life or the same thing for sports. Just BE YOURSELF. Don't be someone you're not. If he likes you, he needs to like you for YOU, not for someone he thinks is you. Be real, and be yourself. Just don't end up dating your entire school life. Don't waste your emotions when you could be having fun with friends. If you like this guy, or any guy for that matter, be careful and have a good, honest relationship.

It's OK to have crushes at your age. It's normal in fact. You have plenty of time ahead of you for dating. Stick to group activities and stay focused on your education. In the end it is the education that will help you to make a life for yourself not the crush you had in 8th grade...

saying he has a girlfriend is basically just the easiest way out of answering so dont read anything into it and maybe if you wanna talk to him then find out about stuff he does or likes then try to talk to him about that good luck

I don't know, but it really doesn't matter hun. He has a girlfriend, so do yourself a favor and find someone that can return your feelings. Trust me, it will save you a lot of heartache in the long run.

um it means you are tooo freakin young to date.. j/k um sactually i am serious but um i had the same thing, let me ask you, do you really know him, do you like him for his hotnness or do you like him for his personality. ok well anywayz girl it doesn't matter, dress hot (while still following school rules) and talk to him, dress like his personality, like if he is a skater then dress skater likenesses, and just bring up something that he likes and you to, ask around school for some info. about him. also then if he still rejects you then just be in love with a singer like tyson ritter or an actor like johnny dep and you could do w/e you want with them in your mind. kk! :)

Him having a girlfriend means that HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! He's not looking for another one, meaning you cant have him while he has this girlfriend.
