A lot of you don't get what he's trying to say. The things people once thought were miracles and acts of God are things that happened naturally-- it's just that now with science, we UNDERSTAND them.
And those of you who cited examples of recent miracles, prove that they're miracles. e.e

>why is it that the same time god decided to not preform
>any more biblical type miracles
It does seem that His interventions of that nature are less frequent since the Canon of Scripture has been closed [i.e., since Jesus Christ came, died, and was raised from the dead].
But how can you say that He does not perform such even now? Maybe because so many here in the "doubting" part of the world reject what does happen.
What about such miracles in other countries? Or do you reject all stories of such events still occurring?
Maybe miracles these days are of different form? Well, reading through the Bible you will find God used different ways to get peoples' attention. And, figure out what small portion [of the approx. 4000 years of history recorded in the Bible] actually record the "ages of miracles"??
And this is the age of the greatest of miracles, of people delivered from drink, dope, despair, etc.; of people restored to a right relationship with God and prepared for an Eternity with God.

Many of the miracles of the Bible would always be under scrutiny of people and science. The issue of Miracles was, is, and continues to be an issue of Faith and not proof by science. To the person who experiences the miracle, and I believe God still performs many miracles today, it requires no scientific proof or external proof but rather the person who experiences it knows the source of it and how it happens doesn't matter. I, as a child, experienced a miracle but would be very hard pressed, other than my testimony, to be able to provide evidence that it happened. I could take a polygraph but that still would be suspect to many so I go back to my original statement. Miracles like a persons personal belief about Jesus Christ and God is a matter and issue of Faith and does not require or demand the scientific proof or acceptance by anyone else.

For one thing, we have the complete Bible now, which they didn't have in biblical times. Actually, miracles are still happening in parts of the world that don't have access to the Bible. Read The Heavenly Man by Hattaway.

Dude where have you been?
Haven't you heard of Smith Wigglesworth, David Hogan, or John G Lake, AA Allen, Maria Woodworth Etter among many many others? You need to change where you get your news about God! Miracles are still happening in a major way!

don't stop asking these kind of questions.
though you may not find a satisfactory answer to this one, deep questions like these will keep your mind thinking about the truth, and what defines reality.
remember, people often distort reality.
although the bible may not be the most scientifically accurate book around, it is morally accurate.
that is the point.
