You can be an example. But the only thing that can convert anyone is the Holy Ghost. YOU can't convert anyone. Conversion is a spiritual event.

Your attempt to convert someone is a futile attempt of the carnal man:
"No one can come to Me if ever the Father Who sends Me should not be drawing him. And I shall be raising him in the last day" (John 6:44).
The Bible dogmatically states in several spots that the end result is the same. Jesus will draw all men to him, and all will be saved.

It is not your job to convert them, most of them are more spiritual than a lot of Christians, they surely don't go around condemning people, and I think that is what the good book is all about.

Be a really good friend to them, especially through the hard times. Let him see God in your actions. Or you can convert him under the sword and then bludgeon him to death like in the good ol inquisition dayz, your choice!

Put a gun to their head. I'd convert if someone did that. At least outwardly.

if the the Doctor say no and cannot cure the illness like cancer aids, then they should come to Jesus then they will know that Jesus is a true healer and in that way they become christian..that is just a sample but there are so many ways...

hold them up at gunpoint, threaten to kill and eat thier family if they refuse to convert.
or try the less violent and more Preffered way of proving Christianity right. show them sucessful christians, show them proof, and for the love of god the thing above is a joke! do not even try that!

There is no best way. Unless the atheist is poor with no money and you offer him a job in the church and stuff. He/she might convert.
