Hummm...

I was "dead" for a couple minutes, but nothing happened. (The doctor scrambled my heartbeat and had trouble re-starting it.)

You can be pronounced dead and come back to life. A well known doctor in our city, son drowned. He was 3 at the time; it happened at the yacht club and a lot of people saw it. He was DEAD for no more than ten minutes, when all of a sudden he started choking and spitting out water. When he got it all out, he started talking about his uncle. The doctor's brother had been dead for 5 years, so he never mentioned him to his son. The baby had walked and talked to angels, his uncle, and to Jesus.

A friend of mine, another nurse, died at home, and the ambulance was a couple miles away.

She felt amazing love, saw an indescribable light, and saw 1000's of people. She heard her long deceased grandfather. Then she woke up in our hospital's ED. She did not want to wake up. She was on the news for two evenings, cuz word spread FAST. Still gives me goosebumps to talk to her! :)

It changed her life. :)

No, and I never knew anyone who has. My sister was a Pentacostal and when she was dying of cancer, she said she saw Jesus. She didn't know she was dying at the time. For her sake, I'm glad she felt she saw him. It gave her comfort. But I believe that it was part of the dying process. When my grandfather died two years ago at the age of 95, he went through the motions of lighting his pipe. The mind is weird when you are dying. It's a biological process.

you don't die, then come back. LOL. that is not proper medical terminology. if you get near death and are revived, then you were not dead. death is the end.
