It will hurt for a little while, but not for long. A friend just had hers removed, and it only hurt badly for one day, and somewhat for a couple of days. It gets better. Do everything the dentist suggested. It all helps.

It will take a week and two days. I had it 6 days ago. And i will come back to the dentist tomorrow because he will remove the stitches. And it's still aching right now. This is my second time i have 2 more impacted tooth left to be removed.

My sister had all four wisdom teeth removed recently, two were impacted. Give yourself a week or so, follow all of the doctors instructions and you should be fine. My sister hurt for around a week and a half, but it was understandable with all of the work done. If you have pain any longer than two weeks, go in and see your dentist, and let them see if anything is causing you pain. Good luck.

YOU DON'T TELL US JUST WEN YOU HAD THIS DONE. MOST PAIN RELATED TO TOOTH EXTRACTION SUBSIDES WITHIN A FEW DAYS. IF THE PAIN IN ONGOING OR WORSENS ESPECIALLY WITH A BAD ODOR FROM THE SOCKET, A DRY SOCKET MAY BE THE CULPRIT. DEFINITELY DO EVERYTHING YOU WERE TOLD BY THE DENTIST. WITH A BONY EXTRACTION (SURGICAL) IT'S NOT UNUSUAL TO HAVE SOME BONE REMOVED WITH THAT TOOTH.

it took me a week...and mine was baddd because they had to break both the teeth from one side in half up and down ones and take it out piece by piece....BUt it wasn't that bad i took a week of school and the doctor presribed me some codiene which kept me asleep for one whole week, the only time i got up during that time period was to go to the batroom or eat and thats it...that was the best sleep week i ever had.....but then when i got the other 2 wisdom teeth taken out it only hurt for 3 days since they weren't that sever and the 2nd dentist was reallly strong so he pulled it out with mere streght instead for breaking it piece by piece which reallly made it easy for me....SO it depends if its your first time i'm gonna guess a week probably, but if you are also taking some codiene then sleep away for the next week.

pain tolerance is different from one person to another. do everything that your dentist told you and make sure you don't chew on that area for a while. the pain will go away soon. but be sure that you see your dentist if the pain persists for too long.

It will hurt a week to ten days. Watch for a dry socket, if you get one of them you will have extreme pain. Hopefully it's not a dry socket, but if it is, see your dentist and he should be able to treat it.

i just had something similar happen.
hopefully they gave you pain medication. if not put ice and stuff on it and take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen.
it should only hurt a week or so.
you will live through it. believe me.
good luck!

Not long. I promise. First day is the worst. By day 3, you will be ready to go.
