I have these episodes of chest pains, with nausea and shaking followed with feelings of terror. Is this anxiety or panic attacks?

How often do you have these episodes? Are they always the same intensity? Do they happen at a specific time, or are they random? Are you under a lot of stress right now? How long has this been going on? Have you sought help for this? Answer these questions, then go to a dr. and tell him/ her what's going on. You may not want to seek help and I can understand why. But, this could go on and on and on...especially if it's anxiety or panic attacks. It could ruin your life as you know it. So, make an appointment with a psychiatrist or psychologist and see what they say. You will not regret it. I recommend those because a general practitioner might hand you an Rx and not care to do a follow-up with you. It's important that you find someone that specializes in this. If you have no insurance you can go to your local mental health unit and they will help you... at a much lower cost. Just go. Ok?

Check them out with your doctor. Could be either, or something else again. Even if they are, though, you don't have to take medication right away if you don't want to. There are things you can do to reduce them on your own, if you want.

It may be anxiety: however it may also be heart attacks. Very important for you to be seen by a doctor.

sounds like classic anxiety, or more specifically trenomentitis. You should look into getting medical attention, or start drinking lots of apple juice.
