There is a guy in one of my classes that i like... but i found out that out of school he smokes... Im alright with that..... i just dont want to give the wrong impression to my parents. What do i do?

You might think so, but I dont think that if your parents knew that he was a good guy, then they wouldnt mind him smoking. Now, if he tries to get you to smoke, that is a whole different story. Lol, dont smoke, just dont. But, before you let your parents find out he is a smoker, make sure that they know him very well, and know him enough to know that even if he does smoke, he will take care of you, and he will protect and love you in all the right ways <<< If all of that isnt true, then he isnt right for you. Follow your heart because your parents will understand, even if they dont want to. O yeah, and make sure you talk to him too, he shouldnt smoke at your house, unless he is outside. Tell him not to smoke around your parents. If he cant do that, then he isnt right for you because it is not a lot to ask. Hope this helps. Just my advice. Peace out. Laterz. Luv/Kodi.

Well, take it into your parents perspective.Like this!!! Say if it you were the parent and you had a daughter, would you want your daughter to be dating or even liking some guy that smoked!!! All I'm saying to do is to turn the situation around and think of it like your the parent!!!

too early to think so much,jus let everything go naturally,step by step,first impression will change as time passes,dun wori,if he is really a Mr Nice guy,i'm sure ur parents will not mind him smoke cos smoke dun equal bad,its bad for health but dun mean smoker is bad ppl right???

Man for one that **** aint cute, and if you decide to get in a relationship with this dude he is going to evenually start you to smoking and I am telling you from expirence and plus finds someone that you like that have less problem because if he smoke it got a problem for real trust me.

you should still go out with him but dont tell your parents he doesnt smoke...this is a wrong way to think about lieing but think of it as not saying the whole truth but truth nonetheless...and even if they dont agree with it see if you can change his bad habit

You like him but do you really feel like being with someone that smokes? if so probably he is the guy for you but if your parents say somethin i wouldnt know what to do either. But its the guy you like what can they do besides talk to you, yelling at you and maybe ground you, but there is no way to change your feelings for that person besides you change it yourself.
