i think most of the time you wear something coz you just think it is beautiful or you like it. but i am not sure is it ok to wear a cross necklace is it ok for ppl who are christian?.

The cross as religious symbol has been around longer and Christians so why not. Tell me what does it mean to you?

Anyone can wear a cross or any religious symbols. Even satanic people wear the cross up-side-down.

Why would you want to? It is a symbol of a particular belief system and, in wearing it, you are making a statement that you adhere to that system of belief.
I had a friend once who saw our wedding and thought the breaking of the glass ritual was really cool. So she decided to put it into her wedding. Oddly enough, she and her husband weren't Jewish. When I asked her why she was doing she said "Cause it's pretty". When I asked him he said - "hell if I know".
