Well a lot of people will tell you to put a muzzle on them or get a shock collar that zaps them every time they bark...... not the best way to handle it but easy. some might say Well put them in the garage, that's a great idea if you enjoy cleaning up dog crap and piss and willing to take the chance of loosing all your stuff the dogs mistake as a chew toy. The reasons your dogs bark could be anything, other dogs barking, people walking by, a bump in the night, or just the fact that their young and dont know any better. One thing you could do to stop barking and keep them outside without hurting them is try putting them in Kennels. its not really mean because its only for the night so its like there bed, the dogs will feel secure in th kennel and shouldn't bark much at all or if anything they ll get so bored they ll fall asleep. lol

You'll lose alot of sleep for awhile but you have to go out and scold them everytime they bark. the only other solution is shoot the neighbors dog that they are barking back at. And hey people all dogs don't belong in the house. Lots don't even want to be in the house.

Maybe you should find the thing that is making them bark, and either get rid of it or do something to it. 99.9% of the time, dogs are barking at people, other dogs, thunder, lighting, or anything else that tells a dog, thateither him or his territory is being threatened.

First of all if you were my neighbor, you wouldn't have to stop them from barking - I WOULD. Listening to dogs bark at night is my biggest pet peave - no pun intended. Unless you have no neighbors, you must put them in at night. Otherwise, they have shock collars or buy some books on training your dog.

Best way to keep them from barking all night is to bring them inside the house.

Bring them in all night. Watch dog whisperer. He says that if you exercise your dog 45 minutes or so running/walking that they have less energy to bark and cause problems. They need to be ran for 45 minutes, not walk slow at your pace. I actually now get on my bike and run my dog. He is so much better behaved at night now. He just lays in his little soft bed and sleeps. Before he used to pace around. Try it.

get two cd players and two sets of headphones, purchase Dave Pandella's Dog Hypnosis cds on the internet. Duct tape the headphones on each of the dogs heads, set the players to loop. Dave uses high tech synthisizers to simulate the sounds of waves and birds chirping, seagulls, cats being chased, bones being buried. fire hydrents, and trees.
Your dogs will become very mellow and will fall into a deep trance. Once they are deeply under, light an M 80 near them and watch them jump out of their skin.

Bring them inside. Dogs are pack animals and you are their pack. Leaving them out all night is cruel. By bringing them inside, you get them used to your sleep wake cycle. Right now, they're probably sleeping all day (because you're not home) and then bark when you are home all night to get your attention.

It's only natural for a dog to bark, no need for shock collars. They are just trying protecting their territory and "you".
