How do i get a sliver out from underneath my nail or will it come out on its own....and....how do you get rid of warts without spending 15 to 20 dollars on something from wal mart...i want something affordable...please help with both.

I usually go to the doctor/nurse and have them get it out if the sliver is in an area that's difficult for me to reach.
As for warts, have you tried Compound W ? most drugstores carry it and it cost about eight bucks the last time I checked on it.

I'm a RN so my response is based on my medical knowledge, training, and clinical experience. I taught Nursing for over 20 years. Chances are that you may not be able to get the sliver out from under your nail on your own and it may not necessarily come out on its own. Watch for signs of infection which include pain, swelling, redness, and pus. If an infection develops, an antibiotic, peroxide, or salt water is not very helpful until the causative agent or sliver is first removed. I can verify this from personal experience. The pain and redness just got worse until my doctor removed the sliver which I was unable to do with sterile tweezers. Now for the treatment of the warts. It pains me to say this as a RN, but it is well documented that covering the warts with duct tape is as effective as any other documented method of removing warts. Duct tape is cheap and it is definitely worth a try. Good luck to you.

Go to the A&E to get the sliver from under your your nail and there are many herbal remidies for warts and even an old superstion whereby you pay someone who says that s/he will take it away for a certain amount of money,usualy a small amount.

If you can reach the sliver, just use a pair of tweezers...it will, however, evenutally grow out.
I have no idea about the wart. My ex used to cut his off until it finally quit growing back. I wouldn't advise that though ;)

Wart removal drops are about $4.99 at walmart & Kmart.
Clean your nails with fresh lemon juice.
Now, how about your real problem.....your outlook, can you see how you want to develop and grow?.....

I would soak it in peroxide, and use tweezers or a needle to get it. Then I would go to your docor and heve them burn it off. It's really easy.
