Im wanting to find a world globe for the top of my wedding cake as my husband and i are from different countries, he is from the USA and im from AUS does anyone know of any places i can get one? obviously needs to be a smaller size as it will be mounted in the middle of the cake and i will decorate the rest of it myself

If you do a search on "world globe" it will pull some up.
I hope this link works for you...its glass and looks about the right size. As I type this there is about 16 hours left on the globe and its only about $1 for shipping) :) The base is even engraveable for you :)
If it isnt what you are looking for, maybe you could use globe pencil sharpeners as your giveaway gifts?

What would be really cool is if you can find a Glass blower (we have some at the bigger malls) and ask them to make a "crystal globe for you. Or they can make them in colors also but the crystal would be great for a wedding, especially if you have any crystals on your gown Good Luck!

Most student supply stores carry small pencil sharpeners, and I recall getting a globe one for one of my children when they were small.However these were small tin ones.
Next idea is "discovery store" ...a science store in many malls, they should have small globes.
Next idea is to call local gift stores that carry Chrystal items...they may be able to order you one...I think a company called Badash carried Chrystal globes. I think they might have been Polish Chrystal at the time.Another dealer by the name of Dynasty carried nice ones too.
