Yes, very much so. i am a Christian, and like a lot of Christians, I was putting Muslims in the same category as the terrorists. Every time I would see someone that looked like they might be Muslim, I could feel the hate in me. I did not want to feel this way because GOD does not want us to hate. I looked for answers in my peers but to no avail.I posed a question on Answers and one of the people that answered was a Muslim gentlemen, Terrel. He told me if I had any questions to email so I did.I was so clueless.I should have known better because not all Christians are the way they should be. Every culture has fanatics and I should not have stereotyped them. I am happy to say that all the hate is gone.I even admire them.I wish the whole world would log on and we could resolve everything on Answers.

Yes, I have been shocked by the hatred that is conveyed in the topic of religion, of all topics. There are people here that just seem to sit & wait for their prey, for fresh meat to walk through the door, for their chance to pounce. Weather it's an idea not shared or a misspelled word, not an opportunity is missed to disparage others that may be genuinly curious about a religious subject. No attempt is made here to use one's education for good or to help others, only as a sword to be wielded at others. That behavior has touched me profoundly.

A person here once observed that the problem with Christianity is that too many Christians look harder for Satan than Jesus. I wish I could remember his name, because I've quoted that to so many people. It just seems so right.

Elsewhere at YA, I learned that some of my perceptions were wrong and some were right.

I'm learning how animals get attracted to other animals, and have learned that it's okay to have a female tenor singing voice. I also got some great recipes and learned that I can bulk-order my favorite rice online.

And I've "met" some great people here, many of who are on my 360 friends list.

Yes. There are a couple of Atheists and Wiccans on here that ask very good questions and give good answers as well. They make me think about why I believe what I do and why I believe it. They have helped me to strengthen my faith, which I will be eternally grateful for.

I can't think of anyone in particular. There are some people on here that ask thought provoking questions and I like that. There are others who are gracious no matter how nasty other people are and I appreciate that too.

I really like reading your questions and answers. You are very respectful of other's beliefs and opinions. You just seem very peaceful.

:) Peace

I haven't really asked that deep of a question. But to answer your question, I'd say "yes". Even a basic opinion sheds someone else's perspective on a topic.

There was a mid east man telling about his spiritual experience, how he was brought up Muslim but that it didn't make sense to him then he found Jesus and now he is proclaiming Christ as his savior. I wish I had printed the story, it was great. How about you?
