my family like aunt's uncles's cousins and so forth live one hour away from me they always stop by my sisters house and call them they never stop by my place or have time to visit me it really hurts i've been here for 15 yearsand do not know much about them when i left i was 15 years old so i was pretty close to all of them.recently my father past away that is the onlyn contact i 've had with them . iuse to visit my granma to see if just maybe they would show up but nothing i love and miss them very much until now that i tried to get back invoveld someones always got to give attitude i know i'm not trippin i try my best to ignore but at this point i could care less for them it's like after we moved the pretty much forgot about me. do u think they hate me for some reason or just full of misery that they don't want anyone like me around since i've been gone for so long

Ouch - that must hurt a lot!
Here's a question - direct, but necessary - why are you chasing these people who don't want anything to do with you?
I'm not trying to be harsh, hon. Here's the thing - if you chase something, you usually have some idea in your head of what it would be like if you got it. Find that idea, take it out, and ask yourself if it's realistic. What do you want from them? If it's the love they haven't been giving you, then it's not likely to happen, unless they change, which you can't control.
You can't control them, what they think, want, do. You can control you - and it sounds like chasing them without success is eating away at you. How about getting involved in your community, taking classes, meeting people, and finding a family of friends who like you as you are? Let your biological family know that you're interested in seeing them, and if they want to see you, they can get in touch, then get out and make a life for yourself.
That way, if they do get in touch, they have a chance to add to the life you already have, but you're not sitting on your bench, waiting for them to take notice of you. Good luck!

We have had that for years too.. same exact thing!!! only less than an hr away.
Just take the higher road... if people can be that way towards their own family-- then let them reap the LOSS.
Families are so important and that feeling has been lost in so many these days.... Keep who you have close to you and love and forgive the others.
Take that higher road. You are not alone..

they probally dont visit you because you live a hour away may be they visit the rest of your family because the want a change of scenery. think of it this way they never call or visit so if you ever win the loto you know who not to split anything with. or maybe your other relatives have nicer homes and material things. anyway good look i hope it works out for you

the doorbell rings both ways you've attempted to contact them they have'nt in return so dont bother anymore i know it hurts ,but why kiss anyones butt .my family is treating me like that as well the way they are if you dont earn a certain amount of money then they are too good for me and my sister.but the way i look at it i'm better than they are cause i dont judge anyone and i treat people with respect no matter who they are.i like yourself has called them visited them and then i had enough and let it go.my friends are my family,dont look down on yourself ,you should be looking down on them for the way they are.

Try to ignore them because obviously they are not right in the head!
Make new friends and plans...and most of all grow in your spirit inside.....you can see how people are trying to hurt you, and that is a great thing to figure out on yourself.
Love yourself first, and try spiritual growth!

ignore them and hit the highways unless they got a lot of monet and one croaks, and we doubt bye the sounds of it either you have done some prision time or you just royally piss them off, in either case- f-- them move on with your life and dont loose any sllep if what you are telling us is right-- some body got there wires crosedd and short fusedd along the way, hit the highways live your life and go onn- you have hit a road block-- my friend badly and delpy one that may cary you the rest of life- sorie-- it happends on this lonely highway of life-- reality-- at its best. ben threw it and kep going on-- downe that lonely highwayy.
