Been reading all this bickering between fight fans here and across the pond, so here's a match for the ages; South Africa's finest fighter, the great Brian Mitchell (yes, great - no champion in history was forced to make every one of his defenses (12) on the road) vs. one of the hardest hitting featherweights in history, the would-be-great Naz, who was badly exposed by Marco Antonio Barrera.

Give Hamed a break here and have this over 12 rounds.
Fighting at 130.

tyrone b - how is Hamed great? He got his a** kicked by Barrera and that's the last we ever heard of him.

Santana - agreed. Big punchers were Mitchell's speciality.
He would have done exactly what Barrera did; kept his left foot outside of Hamed's right foot, kept him turning all night and taken him to school.

lizardhead - don't worry about this Luke F. The kid's an idiot. Believes Bush was behind 9/11.

No contest. Brian would shut up Hamed permanently.

Brian Mitchell it is an injustice that he is not in the Hall of Fame, a fantastic fighter. It's too bad that he had to fight unfair circumstances and politics during his career. It's tough enough to fight your opponent. Also, to make a point about traveling to the U.S. to fight, and establish greatness as a fighter, Mitchell defended his title 4 times in the U.S. and a record 12 times in his weight class, and many people still don't know of him. That's sad.
Hamed would crumble under Mitchell's constant pressure. Mitchell threw more punches as the fight progressed. I'd say a win for Brian by UD or late round kayo.
How about a Barrera/Mitchell dream match up?
Post it Brad.

Luke F- It's time you dealt with reality.

I'd go with the great Naseem Hamed. He's a hard hitting boxer also very entertaining to watch.

I hate to go against my man Prince Naz but I have to and say he would lose. It would be entertaining as hell though!
