Not if they reach God's standard of perfection, but they can't. They are trusting in themselves to get to heaven (or Nirvana) not in God or Jesus. Lets put it this way, could the lost sheep find himself carry himself on his shoulders and take himself back to the pasture? Can a man charged for murder dismiss his own case?

"and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted, he that is greatest among shall be your servant." matthew 22-those are the words of Christ himself
Lets first examine what a monk is= Just a man that lives in a religious monastary. So that being defined anyone can be a monk. You can have an evil past, find salvation and then become a monk. In my humble opinion I believe most Buddhist Monks will achieve a level of knowledge that us materialist will never reach. Their existence is spent with God and away from us. Our existense is spent in Babylon. Look around right now. Everything around you was made by another man- your house, your computer screen, the clothes you wear, the stone that you walk on. We are the ones living in a prison of our own objects and drama. They are the ones living in truth, in nature, and with God. They are closer do God than any of you nonsense talking fake Christians are. Christ is my savior!!! You embarass me when you judge, and you embarass me when you think that you know who will be allowed in to heaven and that you know who will be going to hell. These people devote their lives to seeking some sort of truth. What will you devote your life to? Don't embarass me or our lord.

Do the buddhist monks know about God? Do they know about forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ alone? If they do and reject Him, then yes the bible, which was written by the God, says that person, buddhist or not will go to hell. Anyone who has heard the truth and yet rejected it...their sin remains and the punishment for sin is hell. You could be the best person on earth doing all kinds of "good," it makes no difference...you still have sin and you will need forgiveness of sin and Jesus Christ is the only path to forgiveness.

so you feel Christian God is supreme than Buddhist?
Why would a Christian God get a chance to judge a Buddhist monk?
Logic says buddhist monks will see a buddhist god for their judgement between heaven and hell

According to the Bible, yes, and anyone of every other religion too, except Christianity. And most strict fundamentalists believe even most Christians are going to hell, including Catholics (they confess to a priest instead of to Jesus), Mormons (they believe that "other" book), Jehovah's Witnesses (don't even get them started!), and any Christian denomination that doesn't have the right "prayer of salvation." I know, I was one of those fundamentalists for many years.
This dogmatic intolerance, dictated by the Bible and Christ himself ("I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and NO man cometh unto the Father but by Me." John 14:6). Fundamentalists interpret this, of course, to mean THEIR way, the way as THEY see it, not open to interpretation by others. It is this intolerance that makes Christianity potentially (and I say potentially!) such a dangerous religion.
Most Christians are good and well meaning, but a few strict fundamentalists, and more of them every day, are trying to legislate their religion. That is a very dangerous situation for America and for all Americans.

True Buddhists attain blissful Nirvana.
True Christians attain blissful Heaven.
Both are in the same place called by different names under the good pleasure of the Divine Educators: Christ and Buddha.

The Creator of Heaven and Earth; He Who laid the foundations of the Earth .... that God does NOT send anyone to "Hell". That God determines Whom He will allow to enter HIS Heaven.
It is up to people to meet those requirements; if not, then they have chosen "the other place".
Similar to if you wanted to enter the United Kingdom. You would be wise if you made sure you met the requirements before appearing at the gateway.

No. How could a God who "is love" send anyone to hell? Is that love? I have more love than that. If anyone were in hell, heaven would be hell for the righteous. Therefore there is no hell. QED.
And I'm getting thumbs down for that? This place is swarming with self-righteous fundamentalist idiots tonight. Well, OK -- all the time. I'd rather hang with atheists.
