Probably not. Most tickets are non-transferable. Read the fine print, or call the airline .

It depends on the type of ticket. Most tickets today are "non refundable-non transferable," meaning they cannot be changed to another person. If you are willing to pay more for a ticket, it is possible to buy transferable tickets. Check with your airline and read the fine print.

Some airlines do allow changes on the name if it is an error only and its the same person. Will just put additional notation on your booking & ticket. but if different, check your ticket on the upper left side. If you can see the non-trans or non-transferable, definitely you cannot.

Short answer to this - NO.

That said, look at the type of ticket you have. If it is business "Full" economy or first class, you simply cancel and rebook. Some cheaper tickets carry a cancellation fee and others you lose the lot (but don't forget to ask for the tax back). First law of booking flights: 1. Make sure that whoever is going, stays going.

Different airlines have different policies and it depends where you got the ticket from. I would call the airline directly and ask. Tickets should be transferrable, but there may be a fee.

you mean you want to turn it over to some one else ?? some say not refundable so You would need to ask the travel agent or where ever you bought the ticket through.
