What keeps you coming back here, day after day, with all the fighting that goes on??

Is it addiction? Do you feel you're making a difference? Some other reason?

I'd really like to know.

I think that in some pathetic childish way I'm trying to connect with other human beings when I come visiting here. Slowly but surely, though, I'm awakening to the painful realization that my hopes and expectations are completely delusional. Yet still I come..

"What keeps you coming back here, day after day, with all the fighting that goes on??" - I feel I am learning in an entertaining way. The humor is fantastic. It's also possibly an addiction, as I tend to do somethings then the buzz fades till I stop. I love new (versus reruns) and this is always new.
I have no clue if I am making a difference, as I am just words. (I have no picture or 360 page or computer knowledge) I guess I could be a piece of a good thought from some one else that people trusts. What does being picked best answer mean - I thought It meant I helped form a thought for an action?
Lately I come here to see if WSIDR or the other button pushers are here or have they been axed. Also I looked into the other counties Q&A, interesting stuff.
I am forming thoughts to talk about with my son, when he visits. And plan to review my history with him.
As I believe in being isolated makes a person less understanding of others we talk about concepts about other people, and customs.
Few people are more isolated than Americans for some reason. Festivals and customs of our hyphenated (___-American) brothers and sisters and subtitled movies scare Americans - it's weird.
Also I am increasing my typing skills, and vocabulary. Can't have grammar nazi on me lol. Oh, also learning to read text message typed sentences, (ur, lol, lmao, and a few others I undersatnd now.) (3 mistakes!)
Peace...

I don't do it day after day... I pop in from time to time and if a thread interests me I stick around for it. Usually after a couple of days, I'm tired of it and I stay away for a while. But, it is an addiction... lol I have this strange curiosity for what other people think about the supernatural in general. I don't think I'm making a difference at all... it's kind of like chatting in a sense.

I guess for me at times it is an addiction, I love the WSIDR and all the others that try to irritate religious people. It makes me laugh. I don't get much laughter lately and this provides entertainment.
And, yes I like the bickering between different people based on their beliefs. I may not answer many questions all the time but, I do read them and their responses for the entertainment factor.
Spooky, I try to answer your questions because I admire you and your thoughts

The reason I keep coming back everyday, is because I try to help some of the questions, relate to what is a good answer. I try to be kind and yet sometimes, I get upset with some of the really bad questions. I am on here mainly to defend Christianity. To defend our United States of America. To get us all to stand Loyal to each other and our Great America. To not let others wipe their feet on our Government. To defend Jesus Christ and the Father. To try to get all of us to unit, just in case we need to and spread the word of Peace. To comfort some who are down and depressed and the reason's go on and on.

Well, I keep coming back here because I like to learn and share my knowledge with others. I have amassed even more knowledge of subjects that I find interesting, I delight in learning new things and sharing what I know with others I always have. This Yahoo Answers basically just provided me with more people to converse with who obviously want to learn and share like I do... even all the fighting and bickering and rude people on here only serves to give me new insight into human behaviour and social interaction... something else to study and learn about from my point of view. Sometimes it bothers me, but I turn it to my advantage and learn from it, gaining new knowledge of my fellow humans. I dont know if I am making a difference for anyone else, but I am for myself because I am learning more every day and satisfying my own insatiable curiosity.... If I do happen to help someone and make difference in thier life, thats just another bonus for me and them. I keep coming back because I want to learn more and share more.

If I let my Light shine brightly, then I don't see any darkness. Darkness can only seep in, if I turn my Light down low.

I know that the Light I shine is Truth, but what I can't know is whether or not I might make a difference for someone else. I trust that God within my heart, guides me to where I'm supposed to be at any given time.

Addiction. The little jolt of frustration and anger from reading foolishness feels kinda like that little jolt you get from caffiene.

The point system makes me come back too.

And every so often I actually read something pretty interesting.

Sometimes there are really good questions that make me think which I like. Other times I'm just bored and need something to do! The fighting does get on my nerves though.

Every once in awhile, I laugh out loud at a very witty response to some ignoramuses question (including my own), and I feel a renewed sense of confidence that intelligence and humor are alive and well in the world.

This is a fair question, so I hope nobody makes fun of it.
