2nd, either tell your mom the truth or cut the relationship, or just keep the relationship without telling your mom

You should pull a Romeo & Juliet on your parents.
Actually, have a casual talk with your mom and find out her reasons for why you can't date. Tell her that it's imporant to you and that "Beacause I'm your mother and I said so" will not cut it this time.
You may want to involve your dad, unless he's the one who placed the restriction.
Don't mention the guy it to her yet, or that you are considering a guy even, she'll get suspicious. Say that you want to know why other people are dating and they wonder why you aren't; that you've told them you aren't allowed.
Post again after you've tried this, people can help you go from the results.

How old are you? Keeping something from your parent was bad so don't do it. Sit down with your mom and talk about it. Ask her questions that you want to know about her objecting to this issue and make thing clear in your mind and live in peace of mind. I'm sure that she will give the answer that you like it. Just try asking her if it's okay if you can date now, if she says no, then tell her you have been talking to a guy at school and you really like him and he wants to date you, maybe she can meet him and see. but how old are u? I started going out with someone when i was 13 and my dad didnt want me to but i did anyway and I do regret it I wish I would have waited another 2 or 3 years later. But I am older now of course.

Tell her before someone else does...And I am not sure what a date is to you If it is hanging out with a group then you will forever be happy
if one and one she may be upset but you will feel better if you get this over with
then you can go on with life and remember the truth not a story of what she wants to hear It would only get worst

i didnt tell my mom i was dating until i was 15. and now that i look at it.... i dont consider any boyfriend ive had a real boyfriend until my current one. does that make sense? but anyways i've been in my relationship for two years. when we started dating i was 15 and he was 18 now im 17 and hes 20. you should just tell her. im sure she'll understand... and if she doesnt wait for the right time. which could be in like a year? it all depends. only you kno your family. the rest of yahoo doesnt. so you decide.

I think it depends on your age and his age...just bring up to your mom the whole boyfriend thing and see how she reacts..if she flips out then I would recommend just keeping it to yourself. Oh..and if you are 15 or over...you should be allowed a bf...try searching online for reasons to prove that you are mature enough for it! I hope this helps!

yes you should tell your mom, and if you really like this guy than tell her that, i am sure that she will understand she was young once to believe it or not. maybe you and your mom can come up with something that makes you all happy, and then you don't have to lie and cover up those lies
