12 people, six on each side of the net, for a whole team but you dont have to have that many people...you will want knee pads, maybe volleyball socks and maybe wrist protectors and elbow pads, but you certainly dont need all of these unless ur gonna play so hardcore volleyball! a net of corse and nice volley ball..not to hard but no like flat either. a softer ball for indoor volleyball. the volleyballs for like beach volleyball are more like plasticy leather. hope you have fun and good luck!

Spandex, but if you don't like the feel, you could go for black short, maybe cotton. Knee pads, Black or white, i warn you not to get like tye-dye knee pads...there was a girl on my team, and some of the other girls made fun of her. T-shirt,nothing special. Any type of cotton shirt, or a dri-fit would work nicely too. If you play for a team, they might have special practice shirts or something. Tennis shoes, I used a court shoe, not a running shoe. The difference is that a running shoe helpes your foot move forward and back, but a court shoe is designed for a court, which helps you move side to side to get the volleyball. What I did when I played is that I had a "lucky wrap".Just before the season started, I twisted my ankle.I could still play, but I had to have a wrap on it. Our first three games, we won, and I had the wrap on. I was going to play the fourth game without it to see if I could, I took it off and put it in my bag. We were losing by ten points, so I though "F*ck this, and I put it on and we can back and won by two. I don't know how that story benefited you, but maybe you have like a "lucky Headband" or something. Hope this helped you!

To play on a volleyball team, you'd need a pair of knee pads, lots of heart, effort, and a uniform. That's it. <:

I play high school volleyball, and what we use is a net with the bars and stuff to hold it up, an offical volleball, compression(sp?) shorts, shoes, a jersey, kneepads, and tall socks. Don't forget to put your hair up!!

you gonna definately need knee pads, wouldn't want to scrape up your knees now
a volleyball of course, a net, possibly active ankles if you don't want to hurt you ankles, and you gonna need some good tennis shoes that can support your jumps
