We have reality, freedom from delusion, and integrity - that is we do what we think is right, not what will save us from hell. We are a pretty contented lot, on the whole. I cannot imagine going back to religion with all the guilt trips over imaginary "sins," self-hatred, and feeling bewildered and upset because the brain "god gave us" tells us something different from the holy book that is supposed to have all truth. It's lovely to be free of all that!

Atheists like myself have reality, yes. For spiritual needs (which are really just pyschological needs) some of us have science, some have family, some have work for the community. It depends on the individual.

Yep. I like reality. Reality has computers and medicine. Neither of which are to be found in the Bible. So which would you be more willing to give up - the Bible or your computer?
