You need to stop doing things for the reaction it will get from her. Be it for a positive or negative reaction, you are doing things to make her like you. Forget that. You concentrate on having a good time, if she wants to join in, that's up to her. Delete her number, now. Don't leave any way to get it back either... no leaving messages on your phone, etc. Now, organise your life to maximise that smile on your face. She's being really childish, think well if this is the kind of girl you really want.... would you want someone who so trasparently needs attention the whole time? How would a relationship be with such a girl. Right now you've handed her the power for no reason except that she's a girl. Stop that.
EDIT: Rereading your question once more, the fact that she's told you she wants to see what you will do means she desperate for you to stop chasing...

The best thing you can do is just ignore her - say for about 20 years and then totally out of the blue contact her through friendsreunited and apologise..

Find someone else less childish. Unless you really "love" this girl, then go up straight to her face and tell her how you feel. Tell her honestly that she's childish and how would she feel if you did the same. Or otherwise....go revenge mode and change your cellphone number and not give it to her. Pretend that she doesn't matter to you and go out partying with your mates. If she asks, then tell her she's got it coming to her for behaving so childish. It takes two to tango and that'll probably fume her up. Also...make sure all her friends see you chumming up to other hot gals. And make them see you flirt around. Good luck :))

I would have to say that she is playing hard to get. Play it back. Don't call her anymore. You called her, the ball is in her court. No one should have to chase after anyone. If she is really interested she will call you back and if she doesn't then good move on.....All I know is that I wouldn't want to date anyone who plays games. I'm sorry who the hell has time for that sh**!!
