haha...I do that sometimes too!! My bf got me to stop saying that when he said "oh really? U love me more? And y do u say that? Do have any idea how much I love you?" I said absolutely nothing back....hahah...I think its kinda cute...just be happy that he loves you!

I get the same thing and I tell him not to say that -- "if we're truly to be a partnership, then everything has to be equal, including the amount of love we have for each other".... at least that's the argument that I try and so far it's been working. I did have to repeat myself about 2 dozen times first, though.

Why not say, I bet that I love me more than you love me. That will definitely get his attention.

if you dont feel the same way, then dont hide that from him because those words can have a snowball effect which can lead to dire consequences
