Hi, I used to go to church a long time ago. That was until some very bad things happened. A small percentage of it was self inflicted. But, all the time I was there I was mocked, lied about, you name it. These are so called "Christians" claimed to be children of God. I do not feel like God will let go of me. Its almost like he will not let us part ways. Cause I still think about how I would love to be as close to God as I once was. Now, I am a hater of the "church wars" I do not like it when one church claims to be better than this church so on and so forth. I believe it is totally wrong to say someone is "hell bound" just because they are a different religion than I am. If your Savior is Jesus Christ, then in a sense we are brothers or sisters. I am very sensitive for a man. I pay close attention to how others feel and am sensitive to their feelings as well. But I also tend to hold grudges. How can I escape this? I seem to be very weary spiritually. I will not turn down prayer! Thanks

first - i'm sorry you were hurt by a church - the intentions IMO of any church are to bring people to Christ and beunited to Him.
secondly -i wish you'd have gone to school with me - we were taught to do good and avoid evil and that we are not to judge any religion taht teaches the same.
thirdly - i hope you are able to overcome your grudge keeping -it can and will only cause you harm. i hope you can findsomeone who is religious to help you through this time and help you understand that hopefully there are more loving Christians out there then the others.

God bless and keep you!
YSIC (Your Sister in Christ)

I havent been hurt by "The Church" but I have had less than helpful experiences with several. I realize that most churches are people, fallible, mortal and just as corrupted as any large human organization. I love God and Jesus but I dont have a "home church". I dont think I ever will. I look at the this way, I am a American even when I dont like the current government. I am a Christian even if I dont like any human church I have found. I communicate with God in my own way. I dont need a church to direct me how to live my life in Christ.

I can surely identify with you, but that did not make me give up on God, because I will never, never, never give up on my source in life. I moved to another church and now I am having sweet fellowship there. I believed everything happens for a good. I hope you can get over the hatred and grudges because it is keeping you back from enjoying fellowship with the Lord. And the people that you are holding in mind, hardly or do not know that you are doing so, let it go, you are only hurting yourself. Jesus went through more for you. Love, be bless.

It is very hard ti get over the church doing you wrong, I understand this. I was brought up in church but haven't been in years because of something that happened, the preacher actually lied, I know not to judge all preachers by this one and I do not, still it is hard to let go of the wronged feeling. But being a Christian we need to, in able to grow as better Christians, I know, or feel this is one thing that's holding me back.

It is a good thing to be sensitive towards your fellow Christians, do not try to escape this, it is your gift.

I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless You!!

it really is an quite puzzling component to do, and congratulations on understanding that you're indignant and that you may want to artwork on it. In UEW we've a document referred to as the confirmation of Acknowledgment, that states fairly that we understand that we won't be able to carry any faith to blame for the action of a small crew or unmarried human being, any more effective than we can carry a unmarried human being to blame for the moves of a faith. I got here into Wicca by skill of an agnostic stint after leaving a fundamentalist Baptist church. We in all likelihood don't have an same subject matters, yet a minimum of i visit sympathize with what you're dealing with... It *is* accessible to get previous it. the first step for me became determining that being indignant became ok, and that i had an absolute correct to be indignant. After that, it became determining that being indignant became a burden on *me,* not on the church/faith I left. if you're continually indignant you're expending a remarkable volume of capacity on a set and philosophy you want to go away in the back of. In essence, you're giving them capacity over you, and that i'm particular you don't want that... yet unlike what you'll were taught in church, you at the instantaneous are not obligated to forgive someone for hurting you --for them-- you want to do it for you. To commence it could be best of you craft a touch ritual or separation. Do you've something left out of your Mormon days you're waiting to area with? operating example, after I were given (fortuitously) divorced, I had an finished circle ritual in which I burned my dried wedding ceremony bouquet in my cauldron, and then flushed the ashes down the lavatory. Very cathartic! it really is a tangible act that enables encourage those particularly intangible concepts. maximum in all chance the anger will not in any respect thoroughly go away. in spite of the indisputable fact that the a lot less idea you provide to it the a lot less administration it has over you and your moves.

That's sad that you had such a bad experience with the church. Sadly, Christians fail all the time. My suggestion would be to find a new church, there are good ones out of there. And no, God won't let go of you, He loves you too much. Keep seeking Him and He will show you what to do.

Dear, you have your focus on men. Put your focus on the person of Jesus Christ. There are churches that teach the bible and are about the bible and all about Jesus...not this petty stuff you, unfortunately, experienced. Don't let a bad experience keep you away from the answer to all of life; a relationship with Jesus and knowing Him deeper by studying His word. I ask that God enable you to forgive and forget the past, and that He lead you in righteousness and love, give you mercy, compassion, forgiveness...and a passionate desire to learn more about Him.

Awesomely put! I believe it is so wrong to tell someone their hell bound also because of their religion. To me God just wants us to find him no matter what religion we choose. I also got so angry at churches such as baptist because of their beliefs but i have to let the anger go and find a place that worships God and doesnt damn us to hell. I love a church that has rock christian music.

My mother used to be a secretary at a predominately white church (we are Hispanic) and my only conclusions were that they were not true Christians.
They were mean and ugly to us, at first it did impact my views on Christianity but then I realized how they were "Sunday only" Christians.
It is hard to find a good Church, I'm still looking and that was 10 years ago. God Bless!
