Definately start conversations with the parents, tell her mum that she looks nice when you see her..
dont say it sleezy though.. but telling a woman that she looks very nice today is always a good one... talking to the father about anything you think he would be interested in is good...
ask your girlfriend what her father likes, find stuff that you both like, that way when you bring up the topic it will be natural and not forced...
if you come acorss as relaxed and natural you will be seen as "genuine" and as long as you dont do anything like kiss your girlfriend or hug or hold her hand infront of the parents it will go down even better. kissing of the cheek or forehead is a good one in front of the parents when leaving though...
Always ask the father or mother for permission to go out or anything that requires that means you will be alone with their daughter.. they will begin to trust you and you'll feel better, not only that, that would make you the ultimate boyfriend, and all the girls will admire you for it.
offer to make them a cup of coffee or tea... ask your girlfriend to help you fit in, she knows them best...
ask her the do's and dont's...
she should have just helped you without being asked... I did when i wanted my family to approve of the guy i was seeing...

lol, speaking as a mother, of course they're not going to like you just on principal. It might not have anything to do with you personally, you're dating their baby girl. All you can do is be yourself, don't try to over impress them or they'll know it and like you even less. Respect them, especially when you are visiting in their home. That means follow their rules, especially with their daughter. Maybe if you ask her father what she is allowed to do or not allowed to do, such as going to eat, movies, things like that. Let him know you want to respect his rules for his daughter and to do thet you need to know what those rules are. Even if the father doesn't want to like you, he'll respect you for asking.

The only advice I can give is ..Be yourself. Remember always be polite even if they are being rude. Commenting back in a negative way to any rude comments is only going to make them look at you even more negative.
