Religous? i don't think so. Though you should thank god( or whatever it is that you call him) for what you have.

Not to me, not one bit. To me, it's a day to be grateful that I have what I do, that I have my health and home and have survived another year. There's no need to give thanks to anyone in particular, though others may very well say otherwise.
To me, I'm just grateful that I had the strength of will and guts to go on living, no matter what life threw at me between the last year and this one. No religion involved whatsoever.

No. It's a cultural holiday. Has nothing to do with religion like Christmas or Easter does.

It is a day we give thanks to God, but that should be every day not just once a year. I believe it's more about friendship and accepting and loving people no matter who they are. It's religious though, because that is the way God wants us to act even to those who dislike us. I hope this made sense to you.

Not really. But christians see it as a significant day to give thanks to God for all of our blessings. Evidently most of society sees it as a day to eat all you can. Everyone is so anxious for Christmas to get here, they are forgetting Thanksgiving.

Abraham Lincoln made a beautiful speech about setting aside this day to thank our gracious God who has blessed us with all we have in this nation. How perfect that is.

Of course it is! The tradition of thanking God is tied to religion!
For Atheists, who are they thanking? Bill Gates?

Not sure, good question! Before I was saved we celebrated it with family, altho nobody talked about being thankful at all. I guess it's what you make it.
