Nope! I don't impose my beliefs(or rather, lack thereof) on people I meet, be it strangers on the street or people I've just been introduced to. I don't do it to friends or family, either. I've been on the receiving end of such behavior too many times to stoop to their level and do it back.
But I certainly don't suffer in silence, either. I let people know where I stand, but I don't impose it on them or try to convert them(or in my case "deconvert" as some would have you believe atheists like myself do). It just serves as a warning that I probably won't agree with them and that any attempts to convert or harass won't work and will likely only tick me off.
If they respect it, good for them. If not, then they're obviously not worth my time and I walk away.

This is a rather loaded question isn't it?
If they ask (and they do here don't they?) then I will tell them. I don't go out with a street sign. I might bring it up, but its hardly imposing. When someone says I'm imposing it just means they don't like what they hear. But no one has the right to tell someone to shut up because of that.
Can't people handle civil argument and debate? Is The Christian the only one who can't say other people are wrong? What gives other religions the right to tell Christians to shut up?

Whoa, you can't impose a belief, you can only persuade. And I don't understand what you say about suffering, because I respect beliefs sincerely held by others, even when those beliefs are contrary to mine. What I can't abide is any system of belief that is based on intolerance and hatred.

Is any faith fairly tolerant? Religions contain communities of persons, extremely some whom have a ability place. The persons indoors of any faith will for sure decision in there tiers of tolerance of others ideals, regardless of the elementary fact that 'spectacular' & 'incorrect' are philosophical suggestions, so probable you ought to choose once you have weighed up each and each and each and all of the experts and cons. additionally what some call enforcing, others might desire to call sharing, so possibly it extremely is each and each of ways right down to viewpoint. interior the previous you get the incorrect theory, i'm an atheist. ED. i do no longer settle for as authentic with people attempting too no longer elementary to persuade others that they have the appropriate faith, yet interior the journey that they do no longer seem to be too pushy i will stay with it.

No, I do not! The reason for not, was expressed by the ancient Greek philosopher Protagoras (485 - 411 BC).
Here is the English translation from the ancient Greek:
"With regards to God's nature, I am unable to know what it is, what it is not or how it looks like. This is not only because the obstacles preventing me from knowing are many and God is undefined and invisible but mostly because human life is brief".

Impose indicates pushing to me----
so I would have to say know I do not push my spirituality on anyone. Often a conversation about such matters is bound to happen in various situations ie work area , friends and family gathering.....I know the real truth as I see it and I enjoy conversations with people interested in learning something different than what they know. I enjoy listening to how they view their higher power....spirituality.....religion

Now-a-days, I just tell People about Jesus when I think I should.
Right After I was Saved, I Tried to Save the World.
Then I started Learning and Growing.
Took a Heavy Load offa my Back.
Jesus did too.

I don't believe in pushing my beliefs on people. I try to live a Christlike life (don't always succeed) and show an example by my life. People eventually realize my beliefs and many times ask questions if they are interested.

Neither. I don't presume to know the truth. I don't think anyone does. If I'm asked about my religious beliefs, I'll share them, but if not, I don't. Simple as that.
