See if you can find out from your brother how quickly you came to - and you might want to get checked out.
The shaking all over is some form of convulsion.
This COULD be a seizure from epilepsy. You are young enough to have epilepsy never previously diagnosed.
This could be something else - like a syncope (collapse or faint) and with certain types of syncope/collapse people can have a convulsion - this is usually with low sugars or sometimes with low blood pressure.
Both conditions are serious enough to get checked out - go see your family doctor to get them to figure it out.

You might have simply fainted, but your brother's description of your eyes rolling back and you shaking followed by vomiting sounds pretty suspicious. Usually people are confused for a little while right after a seizure, but two hours later (if that's when you went to the hospital) you would be pretty much back to normal. If you feel the hospital did not fully evaluate you, make an appointment with a neurologist and have an EEG (a simple test that measures brain waves and can identify any seizure-like activity in the brain)

It sure sounds like a seizure to me...
I have had a seizure before and when I came to I was VERY confused. I didn't know where I was, what had happened, and had no idea that anything bad had happened to me. It took at least 4 to 5 hours for me to start realizing what was going on.... if you weren't confused like this and remember everything up to that point it may not have been a seizure. If you felt light headed it may have been a dangerous drop in blood pressure... this could cause you to faint and convulse - but I have never heard of somebody puking in a situation like that.
Were you taking any drugs/medications before this happened? My seizure was brought on by taking the two medications Ultram and Wellbutrine (plus I hadn't slept the night before)... many medications and drugs also can lower your blood pressure to dangerously low levels (especially blood pressure medications, sleep medications, anxiety medications, and some pain medications)....
I suggest talking to a doctor about this - you do not want this to keep happening.

As a paramedic, I can tell you the ER is wrong for telling you if you had an actual seizure or not because they weren't there. just like No one on this site can tell you whether or not you had one. The best advise that I can give you is go to your Family MD and tell him what occured and what your brother saw. Ask if you can have a CT scan or have other test run. You may not be epileptic but you could have blood on your brain from falling. as far as passing out it could be as simple as sitting down in one position and getting up too quick for your body causing a Vaugal response, which would lower your blood pressure. But let me be clear when I say That I am not a Doctor nor do I play one on TV so I could be 100% wrong. But I do know for a fact that you should get checked out again.

It definitely sounds like a seizure. Make an appointment with a neurologist just to be safe. Make the appointment for as soon as possible - you can't risk having another seizure, particularly if the next one happens when you are behind the wheel. They probably misunderstood you at the hospital. You should be seeing a specialist, not just any doctor at the hospital.

I would go to my family doctor and check with him about seeing a Neurologist. They are the only ones really qualified to say if you really had a seizure. Good luck.

Keep a watch on it and tell your family physician. But...usually the hospital can tell if someone has had a seizure.
