What do you drink. It may not be the alcohol. It could be something in the drink you are allergic to. If you drink has grenadine in it that could be it allot of people are allergic to the red dye.
Not sure I've heard of a direct allergy to alcohol and it would probably effect your whole body internally as well.
Your not drinking rubbing alcohol are you...???... just a question. lol. Go to your doctor.

Additional: Sounds a little psychological. Like you are convinced that anything with alcohol in it or even a bottle containing the alcohol will cause the irritation, that your body reacts to it. Like a false affect. It's like a placebo effect only the other way around.

The straw sounds well for sensible causes and would I endorse "Iced" for protection causes. The I.V. whilst it would sound attractive might want specialised help that might make it price much more than Starbucks. Oops... Lucy has a well factor, adequate, iced however from a cup. You''ll need to manage the dribble I'm afraid

You're allergic, hon. And yes, of course you can still drink, but you may want to carry Benadryl FastMelts on you to avoid having a reaction.

Cheers!
