You need to get rid of things that remind you of him. Or at least put them away in a box where you won't come across them. Go out and be with your friends. Distractions are wonderful. If you feel you need to vent, write your thoughts and feelings in a journal. Trust me, down the road you will see he was not worth all the heartache and tears you shed over him. If they find a girlfriend that fast, they were never true to you anyhow.

Don't listen to sad songs or movies.
Get out and meet new people.
Travel.
Keep your appearance up...dont get depressed and sloppy.
Go to the gym, exercise alot
Call old friends and go see them
Spend more time with aged relatives for you and them
Don't call him
Don't keep his memorabilia out where you can see it.
Don't visit places that the two of you frequented
Just get out and enjoy stuff you like, such as, nature; movies, friends, dancing, photography, or find a NEW hobby. Good Luck

That is ALWAYS hard, but this will only make you stronger ALSO you may not understand why it happened, but down the line when you meet a guy 200% times better, you will realize you ex was nothing but a loser and you will say to yourself "What was I thinking?"
Just hang out with friends a lot more and just keep yourself busy...go out as much as you can just to keep your mind off of him...he is not worth your time!! :)

its going to be very hard. you are going to think about him a whole lot. sometimes you might blame yourself for things ending up the way they did. but you have to know that its not your fault. But now that its over, its over. there are millions and millions of guys out there and there will be tons of guys who are just like your ex, but even better. so loosing him was really his loss...not yours. just keep positove and know that something good will come out of all this. maybee you will even find your true soulmate

Consider yourself blessed. This man's emotion is like the tide, in then out. Wait for a man that needs your heart.
