Many Jewish people practice some or all of these restrictions in various degrees. It would be best to inquire as to what if any restrictions they have.
• No pork, and shellfish.
• Fish is acceptable as long as it has fins and scales.
• All animals with split hooves and which chew the cud (including sheep and cows)
• Refrain from eating meat and dairy products at the same meal
• No wine, unless its kosher wine
• All meat has to be prepared by a qualified kosher butcher (SHOCHET)
• If meat was eaten in the same day, one must wait six hours before consuming any dairy products
Warm Drinks
You can get every possible type of coffee in Israel. In the mornings, Israelis drink instant coffee with water and milk or black coffee (strong coffee made of ground coffee and water, to which sugar is added). In the cafes, you will find all the familiar types of coffee – cappuccino (known in Israel as café hafukh), espresso, and more. The coffee-drinking culture has developed a lot in Israel in recent years, with the opening of several large coffee chains that sell superb coffee together with light meals. You can also find all the familiar teas, in infusions or in small bags for preparing one cup.

All shellfish are NOT kosher.
I never heard anything about coffee. Usually plant products are kosher (But I am not Jewish, so I am not sure).
------edit-----
Coffee did NOT come out of the Crusades. Coffee came from the failed Muslim invasion of Vienna (which was part of the motivation for the Crusades in the first place -- Muslims kept invading Christian kingdoms in and around Europe).
Isn't it interesting how people will shamelessly distort history to make Christianity look worse than it is?
===========
...In 1683, with the invasion of Vienna by the Ottoman army, coffee made its entrance to the city. If it had not been for a translator who knew what the beans were, sacks full of coffee thought to be camel fodder were to be dumped into the Danube river....
