I am going to make sausage balls and don't have Bisquick.

If the recipe calls for a pancake mix then it does not matter which brand you use. Recipes only call for specific brands because they are advertising for that brand.

Hm. Never heard of that before. Well I don't know if it will work because bisquick is mainly used for more of baking things... if you have jiffy baking mix it works just like bisquick. But you can always do trial and error. Try one out and see how it works, and if it doesn't work out like you planned, scrap it and grab the stuff that you need. Because hungry jack is an add water kind of thing, and bisquick you need more components to it so you can be versatile with what you're gonna make. Good luck.

Emphatically, NO. Unless you want what the HJ box discribes, hhmmm sausage ball pancakes, you just might be on to something here, IF you cook the sausage first.
