An upper respiratory infection is contagious from animal to animal so I'm pretty sure it is!!

Yes. It's also infectious with humans. However, it's basically the common cold which means it will have a 4-5 day period and will not respond to antibiotics. Just make sure the kitten (and the dog ... and the human) all drink plenty of fluids. Runny nose and sneezing will be the main problem.

Most likely not. The upper respitory infection (URI) is initally caused by a virus. URI's can be potentially devistating to a young kitten, though this condition is not unusual. You need to take your kitten to a vet. Kitty may need some antibiotics.

It shouldn't be.

Antibiotics will not take care of the virus, but it may help out with some of the symptoms.

No, each virus is "species specific" so dogs get dog viruses and cats get cat viruses and humans get human viruses.

i doubt it, but do further research. Just like humans can't get sick from dogs, dogs can't get sick from cats. I'd check dome sources though if I were you

respiratory
If it is viral, NO. Viruses are host-specific.
But get your kitty to a vet, please.
Viruses usually do not respond to antibiotics, but the vet can give kitty antiviral meds.

No because URI's are only inter-species related.
