Try taking them out of the shell first.

when I devour almonds, my throat, lips and tongue get hitchy and harm. If that's somewhat the way you sense, then it in all likelihood is an allergic reaction - till you devour walnuts with salt on them: the salt on my own, if centred, could make your tongue sore a bargain!

You are NOT allergic its normal. Its just because they are kind of dry nuts I think Mine gets sore too and I have no allergies. Its just the nut and it will make other foods taste funny

you're deffinately allergic to them. Same thing happens to me when I eat walnuts, brazillian nuts and wierd crap like that.

Maybe because shards of nuts are scratching the surface of your tongue.

You maybe slightly alergic to the them.
