It doesnt matter what you get her, or how expensive it is. It's the thought that counts.

Start off the morning with a nice note or letter telling her something nice, funny, or heartfelt... that doesn't cost a thing. For $20 you can make her a nice dinner. It doesn't have to be a Porterhouse steak; a nice pasta dish will do and maybe make or buy a small cake. Whatever is left, put towards flowers. If you have a Farmer's Market or something of that nature nearby, buy the flowers there because they are usually cheaper and fresher. If you want to top off the night, give her a massage or rent a movie (something that she wants to see). If a guy ever did this for me it would be a birthday I would never forget and would be more memorable than any $100 gift could ever possibly buy.

Get her a few flowers and make some I OWE YOU'S that could be a back rub...or a foot massage...or a night of doing nothing, you wait on her hand and foot, a car wash, just things like that that don't cost anything and you know she would get a kick out of or really appreciate. My kids did that for me on Mother's Day and I loved it. Colored paper and pens are all you need. Make them redeemable by a certain date too. Makes it more interesting. Good luck.

Buy a piece of her favourite cake and some grapes. Have a picnic at a quiet park. Sing her a romantic song. And give her a birthday kiss.

It's your presence that's important to her, not so much the gift.

Your perfect choice is chocolate (any kind except kids candy) and a stuffed bear with a red heart in the belly. That moves all the girlfriends i ever had.

you should buy a brick. then use it to smash in the window of her favorite store. steal whatever she would like. don't forget to either wear a mask or take out the security cameras. then when she asks how could you afford this, you say "you don't wanna know"

haha just kidding
