it depends where the cut is? Don't put anything in it, it can cause an infection. You want to make sure it has a clean/sterile dressing. If it is not too deep put some antibiotic ointment on it and cover it w/ some gauze. Cold packs for the inflamation. Pain and soreness is only relieved w/ an NSAID like Motrin

Believe it or not, ointments for hemorrhoids work wonders because they contain anesthetics. If you apply a small amount and cover with a bandage, the pain from a small cut or sore will decrease. Just don't get the ointment in the eyes or mouth.

Soak in some warm water or as hot as you can stand it with some EPSOM SALT. Over the counter. Will relieve soreness and pain. Do it for a couple days (1-2)

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/b8FaE
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.
