Regardless of what people say or want to believe now. This country was founded on religion. God gave our forefathers the inspiration to create our nation under God. Everyone wants to take it away now, but all it does is bring us down further and further. If we keep dismissing God in this society, we will end up fighting and hating like the extremists in Iraq. This country is sustaining life because of Christians. God and Christianity are the only ones keeping morality here. Without God we would all be lost forever.

The founders did no longer say faith had no place in politics. this could be a consumer-friendly false impression. What they DID do became to enshrine in regulation that "Congress shall make no regulation respecting corporation of religion " perfect there interior the form for all eyes to be certain. Politics and coverage are no longer consistently one and a similar. Politicians consistently panders to particular vote casting blocks religious and non-religious alike. it extremely is not any longer Christian Republicans who set our u . s . in this course. it extremely is left-wing propaganda. a super form of the peolle making coverage are no longer overly religious and intensely some the neo-cons are no longer even Christians. the persons who're sending our super u . s . into destruction are IDIOTS who someway have been given Christians to VOTE for them. particular 70% p.c. of people being Christian and the heavy involvement of religious voters has some impact yet vote casting blocks could be created from many categories of communities . in keeping with possibility you ought to start an earthly circulate to counter their impact . there are a super form of persons who might agree including your stance. That i think could be the american component to do.

Our nation was founded on Christian values. The founding fathers prayed over every decision and in every meeting. They used their faith in God and WERE inspired by Him. Thus, we gained the Constitution. The greatest document ever written for ultimate freedom and peace.
Fortunately, some still consider it important to involve our creator. It is wise to remember Him, he created not only us, but our world, our nation, and our govt.
It was by recognizing and embracing his Laws that our nation became so great. It is by failing to recognize and live those laws now that we are beginning to fall. And great will be the fall.....

I'd go with the fact that around 80% of its population consider themselves Christians. Plus, the USA's Founding Fathers built this country on Judeo-Christian beliefs/theories.

Because no matter how much the government tries to seperate church and state you have to realize that people working for the government are religious. They will base their opinions off their faiths much as voters do. While one church doesnt run the government doesn't mean that churches and religion doesnt effect it.

Because they think that this country is a Christian country and that the majority of U.S. citizens are Christian and they suck up to what they think is the majority.
I don't like they way politicians make it seem that Republicans are Christian conservatives and Democrats are very liberal non Christians. Fact is believe it or not there are Republican pagans, and homosexuals and there are Christian Democrats.

This country (USA) was started by Christians that believed in the Word of God. Somewhere along the line they lost that belief and trying to do things by themselves without the help of God. That is why this world of ours is so screwed up, we are letting God slip away and we believe that we can do everything by ourselves.
I for one, cannot, I need God's help to get me through the day.

I think the there is a line not to be crossed. I think government should not be telling us if we should be Baptist or Catholic or Lutheran. I don't think they should be publicly preaching, that is what pastors do.
However, I think people in government should make their decisions on their faith for moral issues.

I think it only does if the President does. When Clinton was in office religion was never a issue, because it wasn't a big deal to him. Alot of it depends upon the leader, what he is like.
