clothespins and a carved pumpkin.....have the kids stand by it and drop the clothespins into the pumpkin... exciting I know but preschoolers will find it exhilarating.

Print out halloween shapes of ghosts, goblins,.........Have them color it then have a small raffle for halloween treats. After they are done, pick the top 5 colored prints and stick it on a cardboard piece. When the party is almost over, make 1 last raffle and whoever wins gets to take home a bag of candy and the 5 prints on cardboard. Note: at the end give everyone a tiny bag of treats so they won't cry or get jealous.

We did a mummy wrap last year! It was sooooo much fun and not really expensive at all. Break them up into teams and pick one to be the Mummy. Then have the other 3 wrap them. We gave each team 4 rolls (one for each of them) and whatever team finished first won a little prize. We actually asked each parent to send in one roll. (and had a few extra for those who may have forgotten) Really, the only cost was for the prizes and we just did little trinkets from the Dollar Store......good luck hth

the favorite of all of my classes (20+yrs)
PIN THE NOSE ON THE PUMPKIN, to make the pumpkin use a large piece of cardboard or wood--draw first and then paint the pumpkin(you can also make this a classroom project), the after the paint drys paint on the mouth and eyes, and then have the children help you make noses for the pumpkin(be sure to put on names on them) and then blindfold each child one at a time and the winner is the one with the closet to the correct spot(you can draw the outline of where you want it). i actually give all the children a prize, and give the closet and farthest a little larger one(one or two stickers for most and a larger or fancier sticker for the others) Hint: you can use a similar game board for feathers on a turkey, or pin the nose on santa or rudolph
others-fishing for prizes, cake walk, decorate a pumpkin
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!
