Antibiotics kill bacteria...

Pesticides kill pests.... like insects....

Both can upset the natural balance in the environment, and bacteria and pests can also become resistant to the antibiotics and chemicals used to kill them.

Antibiotics are a drug that kill or slow down the effects of bacteria, however they have no effect on viruses, parasites or fungi and are unique in that they target the bacteria without impacting on the host.
Pesticides are a chemical substance or biological agent which kills, prevents or repels any pest (including bacteria, but not limited to). Many pesticides are toxic to humans or other organisms including hosts.

Pesticides are man made chemicals used to kill pests such as grasshoppers and other crop eating pests.

Antibiotics are made of other bacterias or made from chemicals expelled by other bacteria that are able to kill a parasitic bacteria.

Pesticides target macro organisms while antibiotics target microorganisms

Pesticides kill off bugs and bug caring diseases.
