Do they know every single intimate detail about you and your past or have you purposely left some things out because you are afraid it might change the way they feel about you????

I wouldn't say my significant other knows everything. It is just better that way, and if you need to pull something out of your hat - at least something is left in it. Everyone has times when they did stuff that was embarassing, mean, crude, lame, etc. and we ourselves don't even want to think about it or be reminded. Why tell someone else EVERYTHING??? Bad idea!!!!

No, I have not purposely left stuff out but i do not feel the need to tell him every thing i have ever done and he does feel that need either. We both had lives before we met but what is important is what has happened since then...unless you have a child hidden in the attic or a STD, or you are dying of a rare disease, you do not need to tell him/her everything

who I was and who I am are two totally different people. I used to be a perverted kid who tried to look up a skirt every chance I got. I found the Lord, and I found myself. I try not to bring it up unless it is to make a point because it is not who I am, and my "significant others" will never find out about it from me

Who a person was and who they are are not necessarily the same, many people do change. Everyone has bones in their closet, don't worry about it.

Best of luck to you

Personally I feel their are some things that you should keep to urself. I made the mistake of telling my now husband how many others were before him. Big mistake. He just doesn't get that was in my past. Good luck with that! Save some good stuff to tell ur close friends.

I think it's normal to rewrite history and not tell everything, especially if the events of the past have no bearing on the future.

No, there are just some things that never come up in conversation, but I can't think of anything I was ever afraid of to tell anyone I ever dated.

I don't think they need to know everything. I'm sure they aren't telling you everything they never do. If you want secrets thats your own choice. My soon to be husband does not know everything about me and I see nothing wrong with that.
