Before he left for another country, he called up and told me to join him there soon and that I am not to be naughty and behave. It's just so funny thinking about it. On the more serious side, is he contemplating a relationship with me?

Sounds like he's trying to throw it out their to you in a very bloke sort of way, hoping that you will latch onto it and start a relationship.

It sounds like it but I would check it out before you go to him. Call or write him and ask what his intentions are. I would hate to see you go there and he not be sincere about your relationship and be stranded. Also you might want to think about whether he is the guy for you. You might want to think are you ready for that type of commitment. After all you will be in another country. What would you do if you got there and he decides he didn`t want you around anymore. You have a lot to think about first.

be very care full, look into the country he has gone to. it could be a country where woman have NO rights and are tret like slaves.
A simple question to BBC news would tell all you need to know.
On the other hand he might just want you to have some fun away from home.
think about it very carefully.
