OK, several things at work here. Bad dreams is a clue. We act out unresolved or ignored issues in our dreams. #1 Get off the caffeine! Big clue. #2-Stress due to band event. The bad dreams are your body's way of dealing with the problems you haven't consciously addressed. You're probably having unconscious anxiety attacks. Lots of caffeine and sugar can interfere with sleep and actually cause bad dreams. Start with that then start eating properly. You're body will soon fall in step. Bad dreams can also be caused by some medications. If that's the case, see the Dr. Chamomile tea or Sleepytime tea before bed calms you and makes you drowsy.

Gosh your stressed out bad. People react to stress in different ways. Some get upset stomachs, and others stay awake at night. Get off of the coffee and soda (soda has 30mg caffeine, about as much as a small cup of coffee.) This is just your way of coping with stress. It will be hard to cope with future stress in any other way without some serious behavior modification training and even medications. (they have their own set of problems). Caffeine is a stress inducer and is the worst thing you can do to yourself at this juncture in your life. If you are taking medicine already some will give you horrible dreams particularly Prozac and Paxil. Hope this helps.

Why are you living on coffee and soda, no wonder you can't sleep and having horrible dreams. Get some good healthy food in you and stop drinking the junk that is full of caffeine.

I have read that insomnia and nightmares are caused by spirits attached to our aura. There are the living, the dead and the "in between" (people who died but did not go to the other world) therefore they are in this world and they bother the living. My advice: all the things that remove spirits: candles, music, get a bath with marine salt, get some sun, go to the beach. Sounds like weird advice but I read a lot of stuff before telling you this.

try to relax few hours before bed, dont drink pop at night & sugar, & avoid any types of excersize at night, drink relazing teas, there great for all ages. try to focus on nice things, trying to sleep, think of animals, the birds outside, what you want for christmas. & listen to soothing music before bed, that helps me. avoid chocalate before bedtime. ideas that worked for me.
